| Among others, the
goals of 4Moons include supporting women
regardless of their sexual preference,
emphasizing the following fields:
- Care to women suffering from abuse, both
physical or psychological, due to their sexual
condition.
- Create a network to boost social and cultural
development.
- Provide orientation and assistance for
medical, legal, sexual or psychological issues.
- Launch programs targeted to improve quality of
life for lesbian and bisexual mothers, as well
and their children.
- Develop, nurture, support and promote
scientific research, official grants,
educational, publishing and preventive programs
for the lesbian community.
- Provide the means to improve and complete
social and cultural development in lesbian and
bisexual wimen, as well as the people
surrounding them (family, friends, etc.)
- Become an active information channel, where
LGBT organizations join and cooperate to enable
several projects from independent platforms,
whereas 4Lunas commits to be a supporter of
visibility and lesbic, bisexual and transgender
policies, among others.
OUR WORK. 4Moons intends to provide a
comprehensive support to any women, though our
priority areas are for lesbian, bisexual and
heterosexual women, and sexual workers, looking
forward to improve their quality of life, and
stressing out the need to reach a zero
discrimination level with Gender equity.
Some of the activities we are currently offering
include, but are not limited to: workshops,
educational courses, personal growth modules,
legal advice, medical and psychological
assistance, social gatherings, and monthly
workshops on self-esteem, personal growth,
sexual health, self-help groups, group theraphy
for lesbian women and couples, and
social/cultural committees.
